It&rsquo;s not so easy to have a good Northwestern dish in the United States, because the shops are not particularly large and maybe New York is better, and Washington is only two or three. The location of this store is not so good, but there are still many people driving here, mainly because the dishes here are delicious. The price is reasonable, although not cheap.

Let me first start by saying that I love barbecue! So, when staying at a nearby hotel and not wanting to eat at any of the fast food places nearby I decided I would cross the street and give this barbecue place a try. I have to be honest, the smoke coming out of the building was a good sign. I was a little disappointed that there were not tables but since I had to wait in line with locals I knew that I was in for a treat. I was really torn with all the options but I decided to go with the chicken, red beans &amp; rice and fries. As I waited I could see the pitmaster turning the ribs, and chicken over an open-pit barbecue. I challenge you to find better tasting barbecue chicken in the DC area.

I think the steak in the restaurant is really a big love, if you have eaten his steak, and feel not good, then you must have no right taste, because black pepper juice is the best, highly recommended.

This restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located in New York. The name of the restaurant is also better remembered. It is called Toki Underground. The restaurant tastes quite good. Many Chinese tourists and Chinese people come here to eat.

Ordered a large pizza at the last meal in Washington! This store is not like other general pizza shops are ready-made, this one is your own selection of ingredients to bake, at first I don&#39;t know how to operate, waiter patiently explained. First choose the desired dough, recommend traditional noodles, then order sauce, then choose vegetables and meat to add, and finally add accessories to make the end, I ordered cheese, super satisfied, rich material.

I&rsquo;d heard all the buzz about Panda Gourmet and, after determining it wasn&rsquo;t an offshoot of the Panda Express fast food chain, gave it a try. Two tries, in fact. I&rsquo;m not convinced it deserves all the buzz. It&rsquo;s not in the most convenient location, as it is connected to a seedy-looking Days Inn on busy New York Ave. in Northeast DC. But I fought the mid-day traffic and checked it out twice for lunch. First visit, dumplings in hot oil and twice-cooked pork. Both appetizer and main course were excellent, but lacking in the heat department. On my next visit, I had the dumplings again (I&rsquo;m a dumpling junkie) and the spicy lamb with cumin, which had been garnering rave reviews. While the lamb didn&rsquo;t leave me cold, it did disappoint in in being pretty mild. It also contained a LOT of red bell pepper chunks, something I&rsquo;ve never seen in a recipe for this dish. I was one of the VERY few non-Chinese patrons in the restaurant, and I suspect they were scaling back and giving me what they thought I could handle. I&rsquo;m going to give them another shot and try the cumin-beef burgers or one of the hand-pulled noodle dishes. I hope they don&rsquo;t disappoint, because it&rsquo;s a long drive to Peter Chang&rsquo;s place in Arlington. Final notes: prices were reasonable, and service was also decent. Nothing to rate five stars, but none of the rude or aloof behavior other reviewers cited in the past.

So, plenty of four and five star comments so expectations were set. I had an interesting experience. Phoned up for a take away. It seemed I had the wrong number so asked if they served Szichuan dishes....he said no! OK so I went to the restraint to order and low and behold the phone number was the same... Let&#39;s start again. Ordered an egg roll and eggplant cooked in garlic and hot sauce. While I waited I watched. Culture can be quite different and Chinese can appear rude... In this case it seemed so but I was the only Caucasian in the place and Everyone seemed happy. That we&#39;re all Asian. Food came, paid, a mumbled thanks and I was on my way. So the eggroll was Ok. The eggplant the same but swimming in oil. Rather off putting so had to soak much of it up with tissue. The dish tasted OK but had no spice heat in it. I guess the place is good as it was packed with Asians, always a good sign to eat where locks eat. Will try something else next time

We were with a group of family members and decided to take out food from here. Upon returning home we discovered that a third of the order was missing. At the same time the restaurant called to say they had forgotten to give us our complete order. We asked them to deliver what they left out and they would not. After the trip back we realized they still had not gotten the order correct. Then to top it off most of us found the food to be pretty tasteless and not worth trying them again.

I&#39;m in my 60s and eaten in a ton of Asian restaurants over the years. This has to rank as one of the worst. The egg roll was way too much thick roll and very little food inside. This is the first time I&#39;ve ever seen wonton soup made with beef stock instead of chicken. And I&#39;m not sure what was inside the wonton, but it didn&#39;t taste like pork. Thought I could play it safe ordering the Moo Goo Gai Pan, a fairly simple staple of most restaurants. I have no idea what planet came up with this recipe, but I&#39;ve never seen it anywhere else on this one. Usually, it&#39;s nice white chicken meat with fresh snow pea pods, water chestnuts, whole button mushrooms, in a light, white sauce. The sauce here was a heavy dark brown sauce with WAAAAYYYY too much garlic. Overpowered all the other flavors. The chicken (I&#39;m hoping that&#39;s what it was) was dark and tough. A ton of mushrooms and not much else in the way of other vegetables I could find. Or else they were so buried in the brown sauce, I couldn&#39;t tell what they were. I ate the few pieces of chicken I could find and force down. I may have eaten about 15% of the dish. Next time, I&#39;d rather eat the microwave hotel dinners available at the Fairfield Inn I stayed at across the street than eat here again. And if you see my other restaurant posts, I&#39;m generally a fairly generous grader. This was that bad. I would have tried another restaurant, but there were really none in the walkable area.
